Write about what you liked and disliked about your group conferences

I-search group meeting is my first time to participate in a group meeting. I will divide it into two parts to talk about what I like and dislike.

Let me talk about the part I like first. I think that some members of the group read my article carefully and then gave me suggestions. This allows me to better improve my article from the reader’s perspective. There is also a group discussion group meeting that I think this is the style of American universities, which allows me to seamlessly connect with future courses in NAU. For advice to others, I can increase my reading volume and understand other group member’s thoughts. If my group members perform well in one area, I will also reflect on my own article, maybe her structure well, the narrative is good, and I should also use her advantages in my article.

Of course, I also have some parts that I do not like because some group members do not take them seriously and do not give very good suggestions, which makes me sad. Also, the group meeting made me feel ineffective, not to say that it did not help me, but it did not help me a lot, because many of my classmates were Chinese and English was their second language. Whether my article can be understood by a native English speaker, and if it is a native English speaker who reads my article, will he find it strange? This is the flaw so far, and I ca not get some advice from my peers who are native English speakers.

Although there are good and bad in group meetings, so far, I think the benefits outweigh the disadvantages, because without a group meeting, my article may have many problems, because I don’t know what my readers think, even English learners.
