My teacher told me that synthesis means something that is made by combing different things, such as ideas, styles. Moreover, it is not summary, you need using experts to information your audience before you do your own research.
When I write literature review, I need to have a synthesis of research done by experts and professional. Literature review need combine all relevant ideas.
Synthesis, It is more like analyzing and interpreting a problem from various aspects, and comprehensively understanding the problem, rather than one-sided or shallow, whether it is good or bad, nor is it a summary of a feature or a central point of view. It is to summarize and summarize from all aspects. For example, why is it causing global warming? Then we can start from some human behaviors, such as destroying air quality, increasing water pollution, and destroying the ecological balance of nature. For example, the topic of my CRP is a hero. What I need to discuss is the quality of this hero. For example, Chairman Mao of China, who established China as a country, but the Cultural Revolution of the Decade brought great disaster to China. Many outstanding cultural works are thus annihilated. So how do we define a hero, we need to comprehensively judge this person, not that he has done a great thing, he is a hero, and if he has done something wrong, he is not a hero.
