I know the definition of bias. Bias is a person’s beliefs, and the influence these beliefs have on a person, in terms of writing, reading and speaking or opinions. You can know the bias of others in conversations with others, read a book or an article, or a news, you all can know the author’s bias. And bias always use rhetortic and fallacies.
I have a very good friend (I think), and we are usually happy to exchange different opinions with each other, just because our opinions are always different, so we both want to convince each other with our own points, but never succeeded. We can discuss books, current affairs, or a news, but never the same. One day, my bestie and I were preparing to go out for afternoon tea, and this friend of mine also was there. When we were chatting, we suddenly mentioned Camus’s Outsider. I liked this book very much, but I have not finished it yet. This friend of mine thinks this is not a good book, because she did not like this style of book originally, but because I like it very much and I read part of it, I asked her why this is not a good book, she said This is not in line with normal people’s worldview. Some views are too negative, and I am really angry because I don’t like she said that this style of book is bad and this book breaks the reader’s worldview. This is all about defining everyone’s point of view with her own point of view.
After I studied the bias, I think the condition of difference between me and her who have different opinions on many things, it called different people have different bias.
